Our Story

Music is a catalyst for happiness.

Based in Singapore, The EIT Project brings people together through music enrichment, community programmes, performances, and events. It was founded on the belief that music is a catalyst for happiness and enrichment in life. Our founder realised that through her musicianship, she was able to find a creative outlet and a way to express her emotions to the outside world — bringing her immense joy and a sense of fulfillment, from both the confidence her instrument gave her and the happiness it brought to those around her. Now she strives to spread the happiness and enrichment that music brought her, to the community.

We hope that through the EIT Project we inspire and spread enrichment, happiness, and fulfillment to all who encounter music.

Ciara Zhang

Ciara Zhang is a Steinway Young Artist, student innovator, and community advocate dedicated to bridging artistic expression with human connection. Her musical journey began at age eight, sparked by a quiet fascination with her mother's childhood piano in her grandparents' basement. Today, she uses performance as a medium for healing and empathy.

Alongside her artistic work, Ciara is the founder of The Offline Movement, a student-led initiative advocating for digital balance and genuine, face-to-face engagement among youth, and represented TOM's branch AI:bility at the UN ECOSOC Forum in New York HQ. Guided by a belief in the power of presence — whether at the keys or within her community — Ciara aims to cultivate spaces where authentic human connection can flourish in our world.
